Chatting with Gautam
International poet Gautam and I try out the co-broadcasting feature of blogtv.com. Please excuse the lack of interviewing skills, and the poor audio, as we were simply putting this service to the test.
Overall, I think it’s a cool way to collaborate. The example you see above is pretty rough, but with practice and some fine tuning it could be a great way to put on a quick show.

This was an awesome way to do this. I think there was something wrong with either my headset or its volume. It seemed like I was speaking over the phone or something. May be next time I’ll keep the volume higher. Thanks to Brandon again and here’s the song he was talking about in case anyone’s interested:

A most enjoyable 13 minutes, 24 seconds. The shout out was unexpected but appreciated. The animal that Gautam might have seen on the mountain top, not a dog, I hope? A good interview, Brandon. Not many people can extract so much information from the inscrutible Mr. Dhar. I hope there are more interviews in the future. And it is correct, I will be in the Bay area at the end of August and will certainly track Gautam down.
Has anyone else had issues with the vocals being mixed up? I noticed that when you manually trip to skip the clip only Brandon’s vocals move forward where as I keep talking where I was…
Yeah, this happens for me too, but only when skipping ahead.
Hmm..that’s not cool
