Messes and Corresponding Notes
Yesterday, my co-worker Peter went to use the microwave and saw that the previous person made a huge mess and didn’t clean it up. He thought it would be funny to leave a note like Pam did on The Office, so he looked up the episode and re-created it word-for-word then left it on the stove:
I told him that I was then obligated to leave the follow-up note, as played out in the episode:
This created quite a stir at lunchtime — not as many of the staff watch The Office as we initially thought. People are making accusations, and talking about how rude each of the notes were, and now we have to have a talk about sensitivity… which incidentally is the name of another episode.
